In 2015, Emmanuel (Manu) Bonnet and his friend Jeremy founded Riviera Build. The idea came from Jeremy who worked as an iOS engineer at a startup company. Back then his idea was to create a platform to distribute iOS builds to his team without using other existing tools that would be time consuming. Manu worked with Jeremy on the user interface and product and together they founded Riviera Build. What was originally just a side project turned out to hold interest for many iOS engineers. After giving a demo of Riviera Build one night at a Portland Startup event both of them realized this could be a great tool for many iOS and Android engineers. Over the next year Riviera was improved and also allowed Android apps to be distributed.
In 2016, Manu acquired 100% of Riviera Build and decided to bring some team members from PLUS QA to work on the code and the UI.
Here is what Manu has to say about it: “We’ve spent the last 9 months making improvements on the front end and the back end of Riviera Build. We are really excited to launch this new version and that’s why we came up with a new name for it: ‘BetaCrash.’ This is great opportunity for us to provide solutions for testing apps not only through PLUS QA and our manual testing services but also with BetaCrash by allowing engineers to easily send builds to their team to test.”
Betacrash offers a simple and fast solution for engineers to distribute builds. Stay tuned for upcoming news about our next version. Try Betacrash for free today!.
